WHAT'S NEW IN 2010
• TOURNAMENT ENTRY FEES --- $25 per player for
each tournament; $75 for District Championship.
• TOURNAMENT ENTRY FORMS---Mailing address
and zip code information are no longer needed. These are
replaced by a request for player’s E-mail address.
• CWGA HOME DAY--- In the case of ties, winners will
be determined by a Scorecard Playoff.
• TIES --- Eliminated and CWGA now to use the USGA
Rules of Golf, Score Card Playoff, to determine winners
in all tournaments.
• NEW TWO-BALL TOURNAMENT --- An 18-hole
low net tournament, open to all CWGA members with a
handicap index through 40.
• CWGA CUP --- Awarded to the player who, accrues
the highest number of points (awarded for tournament
participation and finishes in same) during the course of
the entire season.
• PACE OF PLAY --- Penalties will be assessed if a
player’s continued slow play requires constant reminders
and flagging by rangers.
• MARY K. BROWNE --- This tournament is now a one day,
18-hole tournament.
• CADDIES FOR DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIP
TOURNAMENT --- Lake Forest does not have a caddie
program; a player may bring her own, non-professional
caddie.
