THE LUCILLE GREINER SENIOR TOURNAMENT honors a long-time member of CWGA who joined the Executive Board in 1948 and became CWGA President in 1960.  In 1986, Ms. Greiner was a member of the first women's course rating team for Cleveland-area clubs.  In 1996, Ms. Greiner was honored at the CWGA Annual Meeting for her accomplishments and service to golf.  A member, past WGA president, and Team Captain of Westwood Country Club for more than 60 years, Ms. Greiner passed away several years ago.  This tournament is an 18-hole low net event open to players 50+ years of age with a handicap index through 40.4.  The winner receives a trophy.  Flight winners receive certificates.

THE MARY K. BROWNE TOURNAMENT honors a women's golf and tennis champion.  Ms. Browne won three consecutive US Women's Tennis Championships from 1912-14, and was the US Women's Doubles Champion with Helen Wills in 1921.  In 1924, Ms. Browne was the runner-up in the US Women's Amateur Championship, and in 1931, she won the Women's Ohio State Amateur Championship.  Ms. Browne also served in the American Red Cross Foreign Service in World War II.  She won the CWGA District Championship in 1931, 1932, 1934, and 1935.  This tournament at Kirtland Country Club is a 36-hole two-day low net event open to players with a handicap index through 19.1.  A maximum field of 60 players competes with full handicap.  The winner receives a trophy, donated in 1952.  Flight winners receive certificates.

MARY ANN MOORE MEMORIAL TROPHY commemorates a former member of Shaker Heights Country Club.  As Mary Ann Findley, she won several Club Championships.  In 1962, she and her husband Jay Moore were both Club Champions.  Ms. Moore was a noted golfer in the era when Shaker was strong in CWGA Team competition.  After Ms. Moore died of cancer, a trophy was donated in her name in 1978.  This perpetual trophy is held for one year by the player with the lowest gross score total of three out of four rounds of stroke play golf in the following events:  the Mary K. Browne, the Kleinhenz, and the Qualifying Round of the CWGA Championship.  Should the CWGA Champion of the previous year choose to be seeded, she may play in the qualifying round of the CWGA Championship to obtain an eligible score for this trophy.
